Cheese bones are originally a century-old artisanal product from Nepal. Yak cheese comes from a traditional ancestral yak milk recipe discovered in the depths of the Himalayas. Called "Churpi" by locals, it was originally intended for human consumption and was known to be popular with locals. Local dogs have also discovered this delicacy and appreciated it for its delicious taste and intense chewing power.
The formula has been revisited: cow's milk has replaced that of unproductive yak (only 1.6L of milk per day per animal) with European health standards in an IFS certified environment, made in Belgium. Matured for at least 3 months depending on size and made using a careful drying process, this hard paste provides intense chewing pleasure that lasts a long time!
The light colored bars are 100% cow's milk, no additives no artificial flavors, no binders, no preservatives and no sugars, easy to digest and contain only 4% lactose per bar, so it's a great alternative to bones industrial.
